FAQ:
When is the best time for booking the session?
I highly recommend scheduling an appointment when your child is 11 months old, so you will receive the photos before their birthday
How long does it take to receive the photos?
After your session, you will receive an online gallery within 7 days. From this gallery, you can select your Favorite photos for editing.
Once your selection is complete, the final edited images will be delivered within 3 weeks. If you make your selection within 1–2 days, you can expect to receive your final edited photos within around one month of your session.
How should I prepare my baby for the session?
Make sure your baby is well-rested and fed before the session. Avoid introducing new foods on the day of the shoot, and feel free to let your child touch or taste the cake at home a few
Can we bring our own cake for the Cake Smash session?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring your own cake! We recommend a simple white cake, as it photographs beautifully and suits most themes.
Your child will enjoy a real cake smash moment during the session. However, if you prefer, you can also use one of our fake cakes, which are perfectly matched to our setups and look fantastic in photos.
For the smashing part, we often add whipped cream on top of the fake cake so your baby can play, taste, and get that classic messy look — especially around the mouth — for those adorable cake smash shots.
What should we bring for the photo session?
I highly recommend bringing a few of your child’s favorite toys to help them feel more comfortable and happy during the session.
If you would like photos with shoes, please bring shoes that match the theme for both your child and yourself.
For mamas who wish to wear one of the studio outfits, please note that some outfits require nude-colored underwear and a bra, so we kindly ask you to bring those as well.
Can siblings or parents join the shoot?
Yes, Sure. Parents are always the most important part of this photoshoot, as it becomes a lasting memory for the child. We include a beautiful family portrait with a birthday theme and a fine art setup. Siblings can also join the session with the Premium Package.
Can we have an outdoor Cake Smash photoshoot?
Yes, outdoor Cake Smash sessions are possible! My studio is located near the beautiful Katzensee area in Zurich (8046), which offers a lovely natural setting with grass, trees, and a peaceful lake. We can create a charming birthday-themed setup outdoors, perfect for capturing joyful and natural moments in a unique environment.
Are outfits provided for the Cake Smash photoshoot?
Yes, we provide beautiful outfits for your child as part of the session. Mamas are also welcome to use one of the studio outfits available. We kindly ask that fathers bring matching clothes in neutral tones such as white, beige, or black to coordinate with the setup. If you’d like to include siblings, I also have a limited selection of outfits available — but please contact me in advance so I can prepare the right sizes and styles.
How can I book an appointment?
You can easily book an appointment through my website. I look forward to hearing from you and

Can I bring my dog/ cat?
I kindly ask do not bring pets to the studio, as they are unfortunately not permitted in the shooting area. I appreciate your understanding.
How will I receive the final photos?
Within 3 weeks after you’ve selected your photos, I will send the edited files in a ZIP format via WeTransfer or share them through Google Drive. You will be able to download your digital files from there.
If your package includes any printed products, I will contact you as soon as they arrive.
How do I pay for photo shooting?
The payment should be made after the photo session via TWINT, bank transfer, or cash.
will you publish photos in public?
Your photos will only be published with your explicit permission. Without your consent, you can be assured that none of your images will be shared publicly.
Do you have any point for session?
- A deposit of CHF 50.- is required to confirm your session (No refund).
What is the policy of cancelation?
- In case of cancellation, the deposit is not refundable.
- You have the possibility to change the date of the session or to postpone the deposit to another type of session at the latest 72 hours before it. Once this deadline has passed, it’s no longer possible for you to change the date and the deposit is no longer refundable.
- In case of same-day cancellation or no-show, 50% of the package fee will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Can we have an outdoor photo shoot, and how does it work?
Yes, absolutely! We can arrange an outdoor photo shoot. My studio is located near the Katzen see area, Zurich 8046, which offers a beautiful lake, forest, and grassy fields—perfect for capturing different styles and moods. Just please note that not all studio outfits are available for outdoor sessions. We’ll need to discuss in advance which outfits you’d like to use so I can prepare accordingly.
